Brief

Following extensive refurbishment during the summer of 2024 the Cklip team were contracted by Brims construction to deliver Sparkle cleans throughout the performing arts and media department, including high level cleaning in the theatre, and professional carpet cleaning to refresh postproduction and sound engineering suites.

Analysis: Site Visit

The Lubetkin Theatre is a highly customisable space with various seating and stage options. While a glass balustrade surrounds the upper-level balcony seating, the lower seat rows are retractable, folding to the rear of the room to create a larger performance area when required.

Specialist flooring in both the theatre and dance studio would require careful attention, and additional care would have to be given to working around newly installed audio, lighting, and media production equipment throughout.

Implementation: Works Carried Out

The Cklip team worked methodically to ensure every seat in the theatre was dust free and hygienic, including the concertina rear of the retractable seating. Trained team members used a MEWP to efficiently clean and polish the glass balustrade to a spotless finish.

All flooring and surfaces materials were given individual attention to ensure the correct products and procedures were used to remove all residues and produce a high spec finish.

With the refurbishment process also in its final days of approaching completion, the Cklip team worked flexibly and proactively with other contractors to ensure work in all areas was delivered on time and to the highest standard.
