Sleeperz Hotels has partnered with Crofton Interiors to reimagine their properties under the Four Points Flex by Sheraton brand. The Newcastle location, conveniently located just minutes from the train station, showcases newly refurbished rooms and redesigned public areas, blending modern style with comfort, ensuring an elevated hospitality experience and seamless access to Newcastle’s best attractions.

Brief

Crofton Interiors, on behalf of Marriott, contracted Cklip Commercial Cleaning to carry out a builders clean as part of Marriott’s extensive investment in transforming and modernising its Sleeperz Hotels chain. The brief in this case involved a full post-refurbishment deep clean to the Newcastle site across both bedrooms and public areas, with 99 rooms in total designed to showcase a fresh, modern aesthetic with a spotless finish.

Analysis: Site Visit

Our Project Manager collaborated closely with the Site Manager to develop a customised cleaning schedule, carefully aligning it with the ongoing work of other trades to ensure the builders clean was completed on time. During the initial meetings, particular attention was given to understanding the specific materials and design features used in the refurbishment, ensuring our cleaning approach would not only meet the project’s timeline but also preserve the integrity of delicate finishes and architectural details.

Implementation: Works Carried Out

The team was tasked to ensure that every aspect of the interior was spotless and ready for handover. In the bedrooms, this involved meticulous cleaning of all washrooms, surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings. In the public areas, including the redesigned lobbies, lounges, corridors, and communal spaces, our team focused on removing dust, debris, and any remaining construction materials. Special attention was given to the intricate design elements and finishes to maintain the integrity of the refurbishment.

Review: Hand Over

The project was successfully completed within the established timeline, with the final cleaning phase aligning perfectly with the refurbishment’s completion on March 14th, 2025. The proactive approach of our project manager and coordination of our team onsite allowed us to anticipate potential challenges, maintain a seamless workflow, and deliver a pristine environment that reflected the high standards required for the newly transformed space.
